​In botany, a tree is a perennial plant having an extended stem, or trunk, that in most species supports branches and leaves. In certain contexts, the term "tree" may be restricted, referring solely to wood plants with secondary development, plants suitable for timber production, or plants above a specific height.

The coconut tree is a palm tree species and the only surviving member of the genus Cocos. The word "coconut" may refer to the whole coconut palm, the seed, or the fruit, which is botanically classified as a drupe rather than a nut.

Sequoiadendron giganteum is the only extant species of the genus Sequoiadendron and one of three species of coniferous trees known as redwoods. It is placed in the family Cupressaceae, subfamily Sequoioideae, with Sequoia sempervirens and Metasequoia glyptostroboides.

To differentiate it from other kinds of ash, Fraxinus excelsior is also known as the common ash, European ash, or European ash. It is a flowering plant species belonging to the olive family, the Oleaceae.

Pistachios are part of the cashew family since they are distant relatives of the cashew. People all around eat the seeds that grow from the tree. The species Pistacia vera is frequently mixed up with other Pistacia species, which are also known as pistachio.

The Pará rubber tree (Hevea brasiliensis), also known as the sharinga tree, seringueira, or rubber tree, is a flowering plant that belongs to the Euphorbiaceae family. This popular tropical tree can grow as tall as 70 feet (21 meters) and is used to make everything from footwear to toys to toothbrushes.

The cacao tree is a tiny evergreen in the Malvaceae family which goes by the name’s cocoa tree and cacao tree. The cocoa bean is the source of several different substances such as chocolate liquor, cocoa solids, cocoa butter, and chocolate. Ivory Coast was the biggest cocoa bean supplier in 2018, accounting for 37 percent of the global total.

The phrase bristlecone pine encompasses three pine tree species. The three species all survive for extended periods of time and are well suited to severe weather and poor soil conditions. The longest-lived organisms on Earth are Pinus longaeva, one of the three species in question.

Trees are very important. These are the largest species on Earth, and serve many vital purposes. They provide us oxygen, sequester carbon, provide stability to the soil, and nurture animals throughout the globe. In addition, they supply us with everything we need to build tools and houses.
