1. Tame that Salt
Soups, curries or broths; we have been in the too much salt in my soup situation. It is a bother and more. Not only are we stuck in this pickle but navigating through it can be a tough one. But fear not, the Asian have a hack for us, quick, easy and fail proof. 
If you have added too much salt in any soup, broth or curry, you can save it from ruin by just cutting a potato in half and let the cauldron simmer till the potato sucks all the extra salt from your soup.   

2. Long Lasting Flowers
Flowers have been used in houses for decoration since forever; this is an ever green, ever welcome way of decoration.  But the perishable quality of flowers makes it imperative to replenish them on regular basis, especially if you are someone who is always super busy.  
Would you believe the Asians have a hack to reduce your visits to your florist! If you add vinegar and sugar to the water and then place your flowers for decoration, you can make them last them a little over 4-5 days longer. 

3. Tear-Free Onion 
Now this hack is a must in most kitchens. Onions are often the base of most dishes, especially if you are inclined the curry, salsa or sauce way. Onions are the building blocks in terms of flavor, but at the cost of your tears. Onions release a chemical at exposure of each slice or chop, which irritates our tear ducts and caused the tears to free fall.
The Asian hack for slicing or chopping onions is easy and inexpensive. All you need to do is to place the onion in the freezer for over 15 minutes before you plan on chopping it.  Happy tear-free chopping!
